Impact of Cultural Diversity on Workplace Productivity
Abstract
This research paper explores the impact of cultural diversity on workplace productivity, aiming to understand how employees' diverse cultural backgrounds influence collaboration, creativity, and overall performance. The study has three primary objectives: (1) to assess the relationship between cultural diversity and team collaboration, (2) to investigate the role of diversity in enhancing creativity and innovation, and (3) to analyze the overall effect of cultural diversity on organizational productivity. The research hypothesizes that higher cultural diversity positively influences team productivity and problem-solving skills. The study population comprises employees in multinational corporations, with a sample size of 300 individuals selected through stratified random sampling to ensure representation of various cultural backgrounds. Employing a cross-sectional study design and quantitative approach, the data is collected using a structured questionnaire featuring a five-point Likert scale to gauge perspectives on diversity and productivity. Data analysis includes descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and regression modeling to evaluate the strength of relationships between variables.
