Abstract

This research article examines the methodology of Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri regarding the implementation of Islam in Pakistan within a contemporary socio-political framework. It explores his intellectual foundations, educational background, and reformist vision, highlighting his emphasis on democracy, peaceful struggle, public awareness, and socio-economic reforms as key instruments for establishing an Islamic system. The study situates his approach within the broader context of post-independence efforts by various religious scholars and schools of thought in Pakistan. Furthermore, the article provides a critical analysis of Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri’s strategy by identifying both its strengths and limitations. While acknowledging his contributions in promoting interfaith harmony, educational reforms, and a non-violent political approach, the study also questions the practical viability of his reliance on democratic structures within a deeply flawed political system. The research concludes by evaluating the challenges and prospects of his methodology in achieving the goal of Islamic implementation in Pakistan.
