As soon as humans settled in the world, they began narrating their stories. As the journey of storytelling progressed, it gradually developed and was divided into different forms and genres. This tradition of storytelling continues in society today in various shapes. One modern form of storytelling is called the novel. When the novel, evolving through different languages, reached the Saraiki language, it became a true representative of society and its social issues. Saraiki novels discuss a variety of social themes, including culture, poverty, exploitation, and feminism. Overall, the themes of Saraiki novels encompass almost all major social issues.
