Abstract

An elegy is not just a poem written in the grief for the deceased but It’s a rich genere of urdu literature that comprises of history , morality , Civilization and culture along with Sorrow and grief . By writing the elegy Of Ahl-al –Bayt , Mirza Anees and Mirza Dabir raised this genere to the Highest level . By keeping in view the elements of culture,civilization And history in it, it is important to be taught it properly .In this article An attempt to be made to highlight the importance of elegy ,its main Parts and reason why its necessary to read and taught this genere.
