Tropological Elements in " Da Rangunu Daryab ": An Exploratory Study
Abstract
This research article explores the significant contribution of Dr. Ali Khail Daryab to modern
Pashto ghazal, focusing on his innovative incorporation of tropological elements. His recently
published poetry collection, Da Rangunu Daryab (The River of Colors), stands as a testament
to his mastery of thought and artistic expression. The study meticulously examines the rich use
of metaphor, symbolism, allegory, and other rhetorical devices that define the modern Pashto
ghazal's aesthetic landscape within this collection. Through detailed analysis, the article
