Abstract

Dr. Faqeera Khan Faqri's poetry is shaped by the fusion of two fundamental and parallel emotions—romance and resistance. This dual reference in his poetic expression, on one hand, reflects inner states and the beauty of emotions, and on the other, emerges as a powerful protest against oppression, tyranny, and authoritarianism. In terms of resistance, his poetry collection “Kashtiyan Hum Bhi Jala Saktay Hain” stands as a milestone, where Faqri boldly exposes the oppressive role of state power, particularly military leadership. Faqri does not confine himself to the traditional bounds of protest; rather, he adopts the daring cry of rebellion as his emblem. This rebellion in his poetry manifests not only through words but also as an intellectual movement, granting resistance a new dimension. Thus, Faqri's poetic universe is not merely an artistic creation—it is an intellectual battleground, where each verse sends tremors through the palaces of tyranny.
