In Shehzad’s works, language is not used merely to create literary beauty but to unveil deeper layers of meaning. His prose reflects a balance where intellectual depth and artistic aesthetics harmonize with each other. He employs literary devices such as symbolism, metaphor, allegory, and intertextuality not just as technical tools but as integral elements that merge seamlessly into the texture of the text.
Ghafar Shehzad’s writings not only depict the political and social history of his era but also cast a critical eye upon it. His themes encompass complex issues such as the crisis of human existence, the philosophy of death, the question of identity, protest against oppression, and the search for truth. He does not view literature merely as a means of entertainment or information but as a vehicle to awaken human consciousness and challenge social structures.
