Collections of the sayings of mystics called “Malfuzat” are one of the big trends in Persian literature of the subcontinent. The disciples and followers of mystics have been collecting the sayings of the mystics in poetry and prose in every era. One of these collections is “Ghaza Ul Mohibeen wa Sam Ul Muandeen (The Food for Lovers and the Poison for enemies) compiled by Hafez Noor Mohammad Mukhadi. This book contains sayings and events of Khwaja Allah Bakhsh Taunsavi, a well-known mystic of the “Khanqah” (monastery) of Taunsa Sharif, a city in province of Punjab on the bank of Indus river, in today’s Pakistan. This article deals with brief introduction and evaluation of the book and its author.
