Abstract

While other languages have benefited from modern technology, Urdu has also benefited from it. With the help of computer printing and the facilities of the press, Urdu newspapers have started being published from most parts of the country. Where two or three newspapers were published from an Urdu center like Delhi, now dozens of newspapers are being published. Just as in the world of television, only Door Darshan was broadcast, similarly, the national voice was known in Urdu. After this, many small and big newspapers were published, but no newspaper could compete with the national voice.

With the advent of new era and new technology, although the quality of newspapers has increased in terms of color and style, there has been a decline in terms of content and presentation in many ways. There are many reasons for this, for example, in today's fast-paced life, where does anyone have time to pay attention to mistakes in language and expression due to the need to complete every task as quickly as possible.

Urdu also contains words from other languages, and for the same meaning, there are many words from Arabic, Persian, Turkish, and Hindi that have synonyms. Therefore, it is important to define synonyms that are common sense. In this article, language and spelling problems of Urdu newspapers has been discussed
