This study undertakes a comparative analysis of the poetry of Qateel Shifai and Sahir Ludhianvi, with a particular focus on the theme of inferiority complex. Both poets, celebrated for their contributions to Urdu literature, have explored the nuances of human emotions and experiences, including feelings of inadequacy. Through a close reading of their works, this analysis aims to identify the similarities and differences in how they have expressed and explored this complex emotion. The study will examine the various literary devices, imagery, and symbolism employed by both poets to convey their sense of inferiority. Furthermore, it will consider the socio-cultural and historical contexts in which they lived and wrote, and how these factors might have shaped their perspectives and influenced their poetic expressions of inferiority.
