Abstract

This research article presents a stylistic analysis of the stylistic structure of award-winning Pakistani Seerat literature from 1981 to the present. The primary objective of the study is to examine the linguistic, intellectual, narrative, and aesthetic dimensions of selected Seerat writings and to trace their stylistic evolution across different periods. The study is based on selected excerpts drawn from representative works of prominent Pakistani scholars, which serve as primary textual data for stylistic investigation.

The analysis is conducted within a comprehensive theoretical framework of stylistic structure, encompassing lexical, semantic, phonological, morphological, syntactic, narrative, symbolic, and ideological dimensions. The findings reveal that devotional and reverential discourse remains the dominant stylistic feature in Seerat writing; however, a gradual shift toward analytical, research-oriented, and interdisciplinary approaches is also evident over time. Earlier texts are largely characterized by emotive, rhetorical, and traditional narrative styles, whereas more recent works demonstrate an increasing tendency toward academic, critical, and scientific discourse.

Furthermore, the study highlights that the extensive use of imagery and metaphorical language plays a significant role in enriching both the aesthetic and semantic depth of Seerat literature. The research concludes that award-winning Pakistani Seerat literature represents not a static tradition but a dynamic and evolving system of stylistic structure that integrates spiritual devotion with intellectual inquiry. This study provides a structured and comparative stylistic framework that may serve as a reference for future research in Seerat studies and Urdu stylistics.
