AN EXAMINATION OF THE ALLUSIONS IN THE URDU POETRY OF SUFI

Abstract

The greatest honor for a believer is to be given the honor of reciting Naat. Because Naat is not only a means of artistic expression but also an important means of forgiveness. From the time of the Prophet to the present day, countless Naat poets have emerged on the page of existence, whose words have become the honor of their respective eras. In the present era, the words of many great Naat poets are preserved in the hearts of people in the same way as they were in their own era. Among these fortunate Naat poets, an important and respected name is that of Sufi Hafiz Muhammad Afzal Faqir.His life was a model of following the Prophet (PBUH) and loving the Prophet (PBUH), and he strived to instill this spirit in the hearts of people throughout his life. As a teacher, he lit the candles of love for Mustafa in the hearts of his students with his thoughts and deeds, and after saying goodbye to this department, when the Astana was built, he continued to shape the character of the students there as well.
